I know, I know,one must be saying, yet again I am talking about Slumdog Millionaire. This time its to tell you about Resul Pookutty, who won the Oscars for sound engineering for the film. There we go, finally a malayalee being represented in the western stage. Hooray!!!!
I know I am crazy, but its not every day something like this happens.This definitely puts India on the map. There's an interesting article written here about journalists in the States going to India. Apparently this article has generated that interest for lots of people in New York.

Did you know that Resul Pookutty told his 2 children; his 5 year old daughter and a younger son that he and his wife were going to the local hospital and went off to collect the Oscars.
I guess the Americans are tired of writing about their brain child "The Economic Slump". So they are doing a "Columbus" now.
hospital?...haha, they're probably going to remember that hospital trip for a while...
well, I hope it gets better here though and speaking of that i also hope the west doesnt come and change the cinema and culture even more than it already has. So many westerners are already in Bombay creating a storm, scheming fancy new ideas...
